GETTING STARTED IS EASY!

1. SCHEDULE YOUR FIRST VISIT

During this first visit, we will show you around our amazing facility, introduce you to some of our expert coaching staff, and work one-on-one with you to narrow down your exact health & fitness goals; giving you the perfect game plan for a healthy life!

2. START YOUR TRAINING

Now that you have defined your goals with help from one of our amazing coaches. We will start by taking you through the fundamentals of training and help implement sound habits throughout all areas of your life, allowing you to start on the road to success!

THE CrossFit Shokunin MISSION

CrossFit Shokunin started with a simple premise: Build a community relentlessly committed to the constant improvement of athletes. The word Shokunin roughly translates to Artisan or Craftsman, but the meaning behind the word is lost in the translation. A Shokunin is described as an individual who is wholly committed to their craft. They exhibit a dedication beyond their peers and always seek to improve their skill set. A Shokunin is also stubborn; they settle for nothing short of the best. This manifests in their passion for the craft. No other word best describes what we hope to accomplish at CrossFit Shokunin. Our passion for the physical arts is the driving force behind our gym. We are relentlessly committed to helping you create the best version of yourself.

JOE GAMEZ III

COACH

Joe is a long-time athlete and outdoor enthusiast. Currently, Joe spends his time backpacking in the wilderness, running Spartan Races across the US, and lifting heavy weights. Joe has lost over 30 lbs. since he started his renewed fitness journey, successfully ran his first ultra-marathon in 2018, and ran a half marathon with a weight vest on. Joe is always looking to push the limits of his fitness. If you want to learn how far your mind can take your body, talk to Joe.

Chad is a strength and wellness enthusiast as well as an athlete. He prefers to spend his time in the gym, on a hiking trail, participating in Spartan races, CrossFit competitions, and everything in between. He started his fitness journey in high school with a weigh lifting class and hasn’t looked back. Chad is always up for a challenge and always seeking to put himself outside of his comfort zone. If you are looking for motivation and to get pushed beyond your expectations, talk to Chad.

COACH

Nikki started her coaching career by accident. After helping out her kid’s elementary PE teacher (who’s currently a huge mentor) with an afterschool Crossfit-esque program, she fell in love with coaching kids and all things health & fitness. Nikki is feverishly dedicated to the craft of coaching and spends lots of time honing her skills. She doesn’t claim to have the answers but promises to make you feel like you matter and that you’ll learn something new after her classes. 

Snatches and overhead squats are her favorite and pineapple is great on pizza.
